At Akanksha Schools, Mindful Meditation has become a serious subject of study



It is not simply the calming benefits of the meditation that are emphasised upon, but the clarity of thought it can bring to the students’ studies. 


Mindful meditation is the art of staying in the present moment 


It’s the art of being with yourself and being aware of your thoughts, so that, that awareness translates into control over those same thoughts


Every school day, in and Akanksha School, begins with the practice of this quite control over thoughts


So that the mind becomes a familiar place and not a stranger with a will of its own




And the teachers swear by the benefits it brings into the classroom for their other studies
