Celebrating our people

The Mumbai Community Day was celebrated in one of our schools,  as we all geared up for the new academic year. With the underlying theme, Jashn – celebrating our people; the main purpose was to bring together every Akanksha employee and start the year on an exciting and joyful note. A special experience was created for every member of the Akanksha family present at the event. It was a day when all 10 school teams across Mumbai along with the Central staff came together to share their best practices and classroom structures. The day was designed to not just celebrate but to learn and share from each other. Every corner of our Natwar Nagar school was artistically curated to create a mood no less than a festival.

The welcome featured an ice breaker where we celebrated a few of our highlights from the previous year, followed by a brief session by our CEO Saurabh Taneja, where he spoke to the employees about the future of the Public Education System in the State and how each and every Akanksha employee had an important role to play.

After the warm welcome, all school teams and support functions were assigned dedicated spaces to showcase their best practice in a fun, engaging and creative way. The teams raised the bar for each other and showcased some phenomenal installations and ground-breaking educational and life practices.

At the end of the day, the teams came together to share and reflect upon the learnings and key takeaways. To save the best for the last, we ended the day of celebrations with a flash mob charged with energy and enthusiasm. The bright smiles and happy faces spoke a lot about how everyone had a great time and felt celebrated.
