Extending a helping hand

One of our social workers from BOPEMS (Bopkhel English Medium School), Nikhil Ekbote is actively involved in his school community. During the lockdown period he was going into the community to distribute grocery kits to parents. After seeing the severity of the issue he decided to help non-Akanksha parents too.
Story one..
He collaborated with the local influential people, contacted other organizations and started delivering grocery kits and ready to eat food to other community people. In order to take health precautions, Nikhil bhaiya, with the help of other people, arranged a medical screening for the community people.
Nikhil took it upon himself to extend a helping hand beyond the Akanksha family.
He volunteered for a week to do the checking and screening of other communities in Yerwada.
Nikhil’s actions truly spread the sunshine of compassion and goodness.
