Meet Siddhant – Brush Strokes That Bring a Change

Meet Siddhant Malusare!

Siddhant is an Akanksha alumnus who paints his world with colours.

At a young age of 7, Siddhant joined K.C. Thackeray Vidya Niketan, an Akanksha school and once there, he was introduced to the many possibilities of what the future had to offer. It was here when Siddhant realised how passionate he was for the subject – Art. He doodled on the back pages of his notebooks and often waited for his art lessons in school. The art teachers at KCTVN soon discovered the immense potential Siddhant harboured and then, there was no looking back.

With the support of his parents and the school, Siddhant went on to clear his 10th-grade examinations and pursued a basic course of Fine Arts, called ‘Foundation’ at S.H. Mutha College of Fine Arts, Khadki. The next year, he appeared for 12th-grade examinations externally.

Today, Siddhant takes pro-bono Art classes for underprivileged children in his community and often guides people passionate about the subject. Siddhant realised the importance of giving back to society in school, where he realised that the only way to bring a change in communities was to educate its children.

Siddhant wishes to open a designing firm which would breathe Indian Art and put it under the spotlight. He also hopes to open an Art college that would cater to the children who do not have the means to go to Art schools.

“No matter what, run behind your passion and use the knowledge you have gained to make someone’s life better and make the planet a better place.”, adds Siddhant, for students at Akanksha.

Siddhant inspires us to see the world through colourful lenses and make our passions into reality. Know more about Akanksha’s changemakers at Akanksha’s Blog Page!
